I took my camry to a mechanic,they changed riming belt,water pump, power steering belt, hoses, thermostat . The temp is going half way. my fan isn't kicking on it doesn't run after the car is shut off

Core temp sensor/Engine block sensor? Faulty thermostat. even though its new. takes a few to find a good one.

I have seen this numerous times on this site. What you have going on here is trapped air within your cooling system. Go to your local auto store and they should sell an air bleed kit to get all the trapped air out of your system. You would think that these mechanics doing the work would do this after they are done.
