I had the same problem. The crankshaft sensor was loose and wore the crankshaft sensor ring

IT SOUNDS TO ME LIKE IT IS NOT DOWNSHIFTING LIKE IT IS SUPPOSED TO, WE HAD A CAR THAT DONE THE SAME THING, I UNPLUGGED THE OVERDRIVE FROM TRANSMISSION AND IT WAS FINE, YOU JUST WON'T HAVE OVERDRIVE
