It seems like my back brakes are not working and the front brakes are locking-up.

Sounds like your master cylinder is shot. But before you spend money on a new one, tear apart your fronts and backs and check them. If you live in a state that uses road salt, your caliper pistons could be seized up. Or the slides could be rusted solid.
