My Mom's 1996 Camry has an issue with the temp gauge. While driving it sometimes just goes dead. It will be in the normal range, and then just go dead for a few minutes and then shoot right back to normal. It sometimes stays dead for a while. I believe it's a short. I haven't looked into it enough to see if the electric fan is working but I believe it is. Any ideas on where I should look for the short or loose wire? Should I be concerned that if the gauge isn't working it'll have an effect on the fan working? Thank you, Mike
