My Camry periodically won't start. Battery is fine. It appears that even though the shifter shows the car to be in park, the car doesn't think it is. Is there a way to manually override this? 2 Answers
It first did this a few weeks ago. The shifter cable has been replaced. It acts as if it is an electrical problem, because we got it started once by jiggling the shifter handle and retrying.
