94 Camry won't start after sitting for 4 mo. Over the winter.

Won't start after sitting. Sprayed starter fluid
in the intake runs till it burns off. Starts
rough but won't stay idling

Change the fuel pump its 22 years old, you can check the pressure at the fuel rail use a gauge. Sitting finishes off the weak pumps.

Indeed...sounds like a fuel deliver issue. I agree with Auto_....that WINTER fuel in the gas tank .....when it sits to long....the additives in the fuel damage fuel pumps. I believe the pump is accessed by removing the rear seat. Ultimately the gas tank should be drained or pumped out and fresh gas installed. Keep us up to date on your vehicle.

BTW...just thought od another possibility concerning this issue. Perhaps there is no electrical POWER to the fuel pump. If the vehicle has been sitting awhile...you may have an infestation of "wild life". They love the taste of electrical wires.
