my relays are not engaging and the radiator fans are not turning on causing my car to overheat,what could it be?

Car starts running into the red and I checked the relays and they weren't engaged, so I
electrical taped it so the fans would run and its good but I want to get this fixed,just don't
want to get bamboozled at the mechanics, also my ac stopped working around the same
time

Did you try replacing the electric fan temp switche(s) located in the either the manifold passage or engine block water passage. Look it up in "Chilton's" book for the Camry.
