1991 Camry gears not shifting, odometer, and speedometer dont work

My Camry seems to not be able to shift gears and the Odometer/Speedometer stopped working around this time. Any ideas what this could be? I noticed the gears shift normally upon a cold start but eventually stop doing so as the car warms up.

This really sounds like an inoperative VSS. Works ok until the vehicle goes into closed loop then it messes up.

it is a grounding problem, insure the Grounds are connected to the motor, near the alternator, the frame/fender....and to the firewall, where the ECU is~ make sure the cables are free of corrosion~
