I have a 1991 Camry. The side lights stay on when the engine's has off and the tail lights aren't working at all. Any suggestions as to the problem? The lamp fail sensor looks okay, as do fuses/bulbs

Check the wiring harness in the trunk, left side Hinge. look carefully for frayed or broken wires. Wiggle and gently tug on the harness and see if lights flicker on/off. Get back with results.

Couldn't find any frayed wires but wiggled the wires, put the fuse back in and the tail lights work again. The side lights go off properly as well instead of staying on with the keys out. The wiring grouping does looked pinched in places but now working. I guess an auto electrician is needed to find the loose or broken wire. But, thanks.

OK...good job. Now we know where to look if/when this issue resurfaces.
