Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Not my finest hour.  Key only goes halfway in.  Suggestions, short of calling
roadside assistance?

Get a can of lock de-icer! Your local autoparts store will probably have it.

Are you at home? Heat gun or hair dryer. Or coat key in hand sanitizer, according to a few of those life-hack web sites (it has alcohol in it that may melt the ice). Lock de-icer works too, if you are near a store or gas station.
