2005 Chevy Aveo Temperature gage goes up when A/C is on. What could this be?

Just yesterday I was driving home with my air conditioner on and the temperature gage started to rise and warm air started to blow out with the air conditioner still on. I would turn the AC off and switch the knob to the heat part (even when the heat wasn't turned on) and the temperature gage would go back down to normal. I checked the coolant and that is full. I want to know what it could possibly be before I take it in to get looked at?

It sounds like to me,that your THERMOSTAT is stuck.If you are going to have the work done for you,dont take it to the dealership!!Take it to your local auto repair shop if you have too.But I bet you can do the repair yourself,Its really not to hard.If you need help you can GOOGLE it.You will save alot of money,and get the satisfaction by fixing it yourself.GOOD LUCK!!!!
