No, these are supposed to reset when they detect the correct air pressure. If they are not, you have a defective air pressure sensor in one of the tires.

Don't forget to check the pressure in your spare also. It's over-looked sometimes. out of sight out of mine kind of thing.

I will say no, having both a 2003 and 2005 4Runners..if the pressure light won't go off but your tire pressures on the vehicle are normal, the spare is low! Took me a bit to figure this fact out!

If you are asking about the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) there is none. While each manufacturer is different in regards to these system your owner's manual had specifi information about yours, how it works, etc. No one has a reset system. Many do not have a TPMS sensor in the spare tire. Some identify which tire is causing the problem. Others just give a warning in general. What they have in common is the alert, but the reasons for the alert are different. These systems do a check on specific intervals and once a problem is detected and corrected it can take time for the system to do a self check and canceling the warning. A shop may be able to reset it if it was a false warning or once the problem is repaired. Good luck.

My 2008 has no reset in Glove box or under dash. (A bracket where the reset button SHOULD be, but no button or wiring). Five tires all 32 exactly and a disconnect of the main battery for 60 seconds resets every thing but not the TPMS light. TPMS light stays on, solid. No Matter what. Will probably jump the pink/blk & white/blk wires in the harness under the glove box. I reckon there aint no reset and it's just supposed to self reset after pressures are re-corrected. Good luck telling that to the state inspector when I go thru inspection, yeah right
