Not getting gas

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Replaced fuel pump and filter car will turn over but does
not starts acts like it isnt getting gas

spray some carb cleaner into the intake. if it fires then you know you aren't getting gas. if that happens then check all fuses and relays and if they are good test fuel pressure. this should tell you if you have a bad pump or not. and yes new ones can be bad. If fuel is all good then check for spark. also wouldn't hurt to scan the computer for codes and post them back here.

Will vehicle start if you spray some starting fluid into throttle ? Maybe fuel pressure regulator or injectors are not receiving pulse to work. There is a tool called a noid light that is used to check if injector is getting power.
