Vibration and loss of power when accelerating uphill

It feels like I am going over a rumble strip and only happens when going
uphill.  Stops if I take my foot off the gas.

Either the bushings on the drive shaft are going out, or the differential is worn out......or you have run over something and bent the drive shaft. In any of these cases, you need to do something about it NOW. Take it to get it fixed.
