How to get water out of my Toyota 4Runner 3.0

So the other night I sunk my 1994 Toyota
4Runner st5 3.0 in a nice size water hole. The
whole passenger side was under water. I got it
pulled out it fired right up And it ran for about 3
minutes then died wouldn't stay running after
that. Got it home drained the oil and found water
in it. How do I make sure all the water is out of the
motor.

Same for the gas tank, it should be completely drained, along with the lines, quite the chore, there will be water now up in the fuel injection system that will have to get worked threw, new gas and fuel filter, with a gas additive like the red bottle of heat, something with isoprofel in it.

Check your transmission, transfer case and differentials too as you probably have water in everything. Like Rowe says use Heet. Your ignition system may also have water in it so check the spark plug connections for moisture and if you have a distributor that will need drying out as well.

I don't think there's water in the gas but I'll drain it anyway. I took off the air and seen some water in the intake.
