My 1990 Toyota 4 Runner has a blown head gasket. Do I replace gasket or
replace motor?

On a 32 year old vehicle I'd replace the vehicle, not the gasket or the motor. Jim

Replace the head gasket and then the rings blow out or the tranny goes . How deep do you want to get into this vehicle ?

If the rig is in really good shape then fix it, but most of these that are that old are nothing but scrap.
