2006 trailblazer lt 5.3l v8

I have an 06 trailblazer can anybody help me
with this.  I drive my car to the store come
out the store and my car wont start.  If I let it
sit for a few hours an cool. it will then
start.please help

When you crank are you hearing a click from under the hood sounds like your starter or your starter relay next time it happens tap your starter
