Make sure battery has a full charge and all battery connections good. If battery is down, you may have to check your charging system? You can use digital multimeter across battery posts, everything off, the generic spec for a full charge is around 12.6 volts, leave the leads touching battery posts, have helper turn key to crank, how does voltage reading react, does drop way down, does it barely drop? You may have to check feed to and from ignition switch? Usually with testing you can get the starter motor to crank the engine, that will show you the starter motor works and the engine isn't seized. Any testing make sure tranny is in park or neutral and parking brake is set.
