If only one side is out, it's not a fuse. Check your bulbs. If bulbs are good, take a test light and see if sockets are getting 12 volts. If not, start following wires. Look for cuts, splits, the usual. I would redo the grounds also.

You may have a bad socket and not getting a good ground.

light socket where the light plugs in. Check for power flow up to the socket and ground it to make sure it is not the ground.

Definitely check your fuse. My 2006 Impala has a fuse for the right side and left side parking lamps. My rear tail light was out as was my front amber parking lamp. Checked the manual for fuses and found out that the fuse panel inside the engine compartment has a fuse for right side and left side lamps.

Its def the parking light fuse if you have already changed the bulbs. Its located in lower right side corner of the fuse panel. It controls the amber parking light as well the rear.

Cheapimpalaguy, yes, you are right. It was the fuse. However, it keeps blowing the fuse every couple of weeks. So, now I have to find the short the is blowing the fuse.

cheapimpalaguy, not sure how the GuruT62QN got signed on as me. But I just wanted to thank you for your help. It was the fuse but now it keeps blowing the fuse every couple of weeks. I am thinking it is the spare battery in the back of my car that sits on top of one of the wire harnesses. Afterall, it is a heavy battery for my stereo system.

Have you by chance figure out what it is that keeps blowing your fuse? I just started having this exact same problem myself, but I don't have a spare battery in the trunk (yet). One difference with my situation is that I am blowing fuses instantly now. It lasted a short while the first time I changed the fuse (also had a blown bulb on the taillight as well), but now the fuse blows the instant power is applied to the park lights. The taillight bulbs are all good this time around. I think I have a blown park light bulb now in my headlight assembly, but it is one of those lights with the reflective aluminum or silver coating so it is difficult to see the actual filament. I am not looking forward to going hand over hand on the wires to try to find the suspected ground.

Ok. On the right side tail lamp was where I found my short. If you take the assembly off, the way the mounted the wires to the bumper allows for the wires to rub against the car body. Only the wire to the taillight wore out the tape and insulation on that wire. You may find your problem there. I will try to upload a couple pics.

This was the wire that corroded and broke. It’s the license plate light and rear passenger tail light

my 2006 impala passenger side tail light is not working. Bulbs are good and brake light and signal works well.
