I have the same problem. What a serious defect in this Chevrolet model. I have vehicles over 35 years old that don’t leak at all. Some are even Chevys! Too bad that Chevrolet has let its lower end vehicles be built to such a terrible standard.

I have the exact same problem with my 2007 Chevy equinox, you'd think Chevy would recall the car in order to take care of this problems.

Hey guys Check the storage compartment for the Space bet it’s Wet. My brother in law had water up front I heard that I checked our 07 it was Wet took it back to Chevy Dealer they ran it though there automatic car wash a few times then stripped the whole back of Equinox and ran though again. Found the problem and Fixed it There was No Spot Welds Around Body At Left fender well. The Spot Welder On Assembly Line missed that part they fixed it no more leaks.

2013 Chevy Equinox owner and it JUST started happening to my car too. I live in Florida so the rain can be really heavy and last week the entire floorboard of the drivers side and passenger side completely soaked, everything in my glove compartment, SOAKED. Best best to get it fixed is how?! Take it back to the dealer? And of course i just paid this car off in April!!!!!

We just bought a 2023 Equinox and have had it less than 3months. My husband started noticing a mildew or mold smell. We have tried different things to get rid of it. Recently I put a odor stop with charcoal to get rid of the odor. Today I decided to see if it was helping. I noticed that the drivers side was sopping wet. We had heavy rain on Friday. Has there been any recalls? I have not seen any.
