whats wrong with my 1999 Subaru Legacy 2.5 GT

When i come to a stop with my foot on brake the car is vibrating a lot. Then I
see smoke coming from front of car and u can smell oil burning/ is my
transmission going out.

its a automatic. Does a torn boot make a clicking noise when u turn

I just went and bought this car . The guy I bought the car from said he just put a new radiator in it . I was looking under and around the car . Seen a lot of bolts that were not there. So now u give me something else to check . Cause to tell u the truth . The c.v boots looked fine .. Thanks .
