Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Was told it could be a bad fuel pump or an air
intake problem to a throttle body problem, i
checked with the recall list and my car does not
qualify under the vin numbers posted. Where is the
intake valve and the fuel pump? Are they easy to
fix.

Who told you that these things need fixing? What diagnosis have you done? Have you scanned it for trouble codes? Have you checked the fuel pressure? The fuel pump is not easy to change. It’s in the gas tank under the car, but if the car runs at all it’s unlikely that’s the problem.
