disconnected negative side of battery before dropping tank to replace fuel
pump. There was only one procedure to insert float arm to fuel pump. replug
all connections and reinstall tank. fuel pump works or I wouldn't be able to
drive vehicle. But now gas gage on dash is showing full all the time. Could i
have blown fuel pump fuse under hood of car?

float arm came pre_ready for assembly to fuel pump. I just plugged it in before inserting into tank. I could only plug it in position one way, where it would drop to bottom of fuel pump.
