OUR AC WORKED OFF AND ON FOR A WHILE; NOW IT DOESN'T COOL AT ALL

Asked by ajjoez May 12, 2014 at 02:33 PM about the 1995 Subaru Legacy L Wagon AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The man at Auto Zone said it might be some kind of regulator probably under the dash.  Any ideas would be appreciated.

Unfortunately this Auto Zone guy sounds incorrect, you dont have to be a mechanic to work at those kind of stores. Take it somewhere to get it properly diagnosed. It may be an issue with the reed valve but it's not in the dash. Theres a couple other things that it could be though.
