1995 Subaru Legacy Wagon - price question

Asked by cheymeister May 02, 2011 at 12:02 PM about the 1995 Subaru Legacy L Wagon AWD

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

We've got a subaru legacy wagon we are interested in selling.  It leaks a quart of oil every 400-500 miles and has some brake issues (we assume the master cylinder needs replacing).

New clutch assembly at 130k... New tires at the same time.  We're not sure what to ask for it given the mechanical issues.  KBB for "good" is $2890.  We have about 148k on it now.

Of course, the more you fix, the better position you'll be in when you go to sell the car. However, you might get $2000-2500 for an as-is car if someone wants to put the work into it.
