I have a 95 subaru legacy wagon with an automatic transmission and I've never notice any odd sounds felt any jerkiness coming from the transmission. We recently had a snowy few days where I had to use 1st and 2nd a bit to get around. It was driving fine. Got into it to drive to work, put it in drive and it just revved. I tried reverse, 1st, 2nd and nothing. I tried this several more times over a few days and same thing...just revs and doesn't move. Well, I tried again today and it's fine. I haven't checked the trans oil just yet, but I'm curious if anyone has any thoughts on what might the issue. help?
