95 legacy wagon le won’t start. Power is fine, just no gas to the motor it seems.

My 93 legacy wagon LS wouldn’t start recently. Aaa mechanic beat it with a
tire iron from below. It started. He told me told change my fuel filter. Did it and
the car ran normally for a week or two. Then, same problem.  Battery is good,
turn the key, but there’s no start.  The starter is good. I’m guessing fuel pump
clog?

Bad fuel pump. Beating on the tank made the pump work for a little longer but it is not a "fix".
