obd trouble

my check engine light came on so I went to (insert local auto store here) to get it read. well my obd wont read. I checked the cigarette lighter fuse and it  was indeed blown. so I replaced the fuse, still wont work. I popped the obd from the housing, checked the wires in the back of the plug everything looks fine. nothing is gunked up or blocking any individual port. im stumped, any help would be greatly appreciated! thanks

I had a similar problem, I had to hold the obd in a certain angle to make the connection, I had to wiggle it in different positions, it was pain in the back but it worked.

Did you check the fuse may have blown the fuse again.

I will try and do the wiggle trick with it tomorrow. yes, actually I did check the fuse again and no it did not blow twice.
