i need to know the wiring colors for the 1992 corvette lt1 altenator plug as i dont have the plug but would like to put one on

i have a charging issue and found that a four wire altenator out of a older
truck in it and cut the plug off the car well i want to put the right one back in it
but need to know where each of the three wires that the car has in its factory
wiring go to on the altenator.thank you in advance.
