2003 Subaru Forester dies while driving. It's start right back up immediately. But stalls like this randomly

Clean the throttle body, change your fuel filter and check your fuel pressure

Yup, I'd start with cleaning the TB. But note that the permanent fuel filter is in the tank, and it's unlikely to be an intermittent fuel pump either. Look at your plugs if necessary.
