I need a engine for a 98 forester. I cooked my current one at 265k. Many places advertise
like they have them, but don't really have it or can get it. I really wanna keep this car.

I believe 98 is dohc and I don't know off hand all the Subaru models and years you can swap with. I would check subaruforester.c0m or some other forums and start a newbie thread and ask for help. Forums are really helpful in that aspect. I hope you find what you need quickly. Keep in touch.

i have a recently rebuilt 98 dohc forester engine in a beat up body you could either buy my engine or i could buy your body
