Positive Battery cable
grounded out on engine
now it won't turn over or
start

always remove the negative terminal off the battery first.

You need to be towed to your local GM Dealer for repairs. No, the ten minute or thirty minute relearn procedure that everyone talks about will not work in your situation. Sorry! Jim
