Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I was riding fairly normal. Hit the gas a few times for
the noise every one likes . Temperature went up to
the light came on . It quickly shut off and I was
pulling up at home. Shut car off , while the fan
stayed on for atleast 5 mins . Very light smoke cane
out. Wondering what’s going on and what should I
do

First thing to do is check the coolant level in the radiator. If it's low, fill it up to the very top. Put the radiator cap back on and start the engine. Let it warm up and look for leaks. Since you were gunning the engine I suspect a hose has sprung a leak. Hope that helps! Jim

I agree. Sounds like you lost your coolant. Look for a blown hose or a popped frost plug. Probably no harm done since you didn't run it long.
