my 2006 Pontiac Gran Prix is giving me a theft deterrent lock out code. Anyone know how to clear this code?

Everything else works but it won't crank over? I've been told that turning the key in the drivers (only door with a lock on it) door to the left and then right will clear it. That didnt' work. Then leaving the key on for 20 minutes. That didn't work. Now I have been told that pumping the gas pedal 5 times and turning the key off and then on again within 30 seconds Might work. Haven't tried that yet? Any other ideas out there? Thanks , Warren PS. This is a GP with a supercharged engine. 3.8 Litre

Maybe disconnect the battery and tap the brake pedal while its disconnected. Reconnect after 10 mins and try to start the car.
