06 grand prix. Barely wants to start when it does it spits and sputters push the gas peddle and nothing happens. Any ideas?

probably the crank shaft sensor ''' go to the ignition module.. look on the drivers side fot a plug that has 2 wires ~ disconnect the connection and put a meter across the wires (ohms) in the cable then have a friend crank the engine // you should see the meter readings pulse as the crank shaft passes the pick-up ''if not then trace the cable down to the underside of engine ..you should see where it's mounted
