2006 grand Prix DIC problem!!! Need help

Asked by Jgill006 Sep 19, 2015 at 01:25 AM about the 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix Base

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2006 grand Prix base model.
Recently the DIC has started randomly
losing power. While I'm driving it will go
blank for a short period then come back on
and start displaying random warnings (low
fuel, service soon, charging system failure)

It will do this multiple times and I haven't
really found a common trigger for it.

I replaced the vattery, checked the alt, and
checked fuses but all are fine.

Chedk for trouble codes. The computer may have some information stored that will tell you what's wrong. Many auto parts stores will read the codes for you for free.
