The oil life system on my 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix won't reset!!

Asked by hemm1998 Aug 28, 2014 at 09:01 PM about the 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix Base

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The oil life system on my 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix is down to 0% and I can't get it to
reset. I tried holding the reset button down on the DIC for more than 30 seconds five or 6
times and I also tried depressing the gas pedal three times and it still won't reset. I have
reset this in the past and never had any problems with it. any idea what is wrong this time
or how to reset it? Thanks
