Shifting problem

I got a 2005 Grand Prix my problem is I can
drive the car all day without stopping like on
her trip or something but if I make multiple
stops by cranking the car and cutting it off
eventually the car for starts shifting hard
going into second and going into 4th now I
had a 96 GMC it was doing the same thing
stop cut the truck off crank it back up it
would stop shifting hard until it acted up
again now I replace the ignition switch wire
and fix the problem does anybody know if
I'm having that same issue out of the 05
Grand Prix

you may want to take it to a tranny shop and see if there's any codes or what they think
