I purchased my car back in September 2015the
only thing I've been doing to my car in making sure
I get the oil change on time. My question is how do
I know when it is time to get a tune up. Can some
please help me

Its never a mistake to tune a 11 year old vehicle! people today don't really understand so may of the "modern" engines need to be tuned.. Checked first and if necessary replaced ITS ON YOU TO LEARN, here are few modern control all acronyms look them up if you care to increase fuel economy 15% Yeah that's right! TSP, MAF, MAP, CPS, CKP, HEGO, the old school items SPARK PLUGS, Wires or COP, learn how to decarbonize an engine I've seen the dyno results... Sorry got me on a rant! Regards

The simple answer is to check your owners manual. You will find a maintenance schedule there. Also its a good idea to have it scanned for trouble codes which could direct you to problems with components not covered by the regular maintenance schedule.
