05 grand prix ignition switch turn but notfire up

my 05 grand prix before i bought it had the ignition
switch replaced. idk if thats related to the problem.
my ignition switch will turn over, but it wont turn
the car on, i have to turn the key over and over until
finally the car will start. no sound from the engine
until it starts, just clicking. no battery problems. its
not the alternator.

i would check the starter relay, and do a voltage drop test to the starter motor just to make sure it's not an electrical issue, then recheck the ignition switch.
