'04 GTP downshifts when you let off the gas

2004 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP downshifts
when you let off the gas. Any idea what's
up? It will do it on flat ground, going up a hill,
or even going downhill.

Scan for fault codes in the tranny. It sounds like a shift sensor or solenoid is acting up.
