Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2004 pontiac grand prix gtp the air
compressor is bad im getting it replaced in
the morning but the power steering is acting
like it has giving out... Could it be the actual
power sterring pump or could it be a belt?

If it is your AC compressor bearing that is frozen up, then the belt would not spin to turn the power steering pump, so you wouldn't have power steering, or the alternator would not be working also. So I would say the serpentine belt is not turning the power steering pump, and if it is, it is not enough.

If I replace the air compressor would that resolve the entire issue or would I have to replace the power steering pump and serpetine belt as well???... I know NOTHING about cars please help

Well, first who determine the AC pump is bad? Usually just the clutch and bearing need replacing. So if this is locking up on you, then yes it would take care of everything else. But all the idler pulleys and belt tensioner would have to be checked also. They go bad and need replacing. Also, yes you will need a new belt.
