2004 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP Supercharged, low whistling, and hard to turn when turning left.

Okay, sooo i have a 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP. I
was driving today, and outta nowhere i lost almost
all power steering when turning to the left. When i
turn to the right, its completely normal, but turning
to the left is REALLY hard and it makes this weird
low whistling noise. I've checked the power
steering fluid, assuming thats what it was but it is
full. So I'm stuck. Does anyone know what this
could possibly be? Help pleaseeee. Thanks.

Possibly an issue with the power steering rack. I'd take it to a shop, (not a dealership - way too expensive for an old car) and have it evaluated. It's dangerous to keep trying to drive it that way.
