Brake system warning light

Asked by Mimi8579 Mar 23, 2020 at 07:21 PM about the 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix GT1

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My husband checked the brakes &
brake fluid & said they are fine but
my (!) (P) warning lights stay on. I
have put the parking brake on &
released it but the lights continue
to stay on & it keeps telling me I
need brake fluid when it's full.

It could be a bad brake fluid level sensor. Unplug the sensor. If the light goes off the sensor is bad. Hope that helps! Jim
