I have a 2003 Grand Prix Pontiac 3.1 I just put a fuel filter and a fuel pump on know it don't start up unless I got my foot on the gas pedal. Can u tell me what to do?

check the pressure could be fuel pressure regulator..https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bwKM99P3LwM if not take look for defective Idle Air Control valve or vacuum leak..
