Transmission fit

how does it shut off? like the key turned off? or stumbles then dies?

I am not sure but if its either one what could the problem be an may I ask you if you know if the transmission in my 2002 grand prix will fit in my 92 Oldsmobile 88 royale

I think it stumble an die an the key never wants to come out the ignition now

well your issue could be with the ignition switch,fix the obvious first.

Well the key started coming out of the ignition switch now so you think that still could be the problem it sumbles an then turn off so now I don't know what it is I change the mass flow sensor and its still cut off

did you replace the switch?

Yes the switch was changed and I still have to use my old key just to unlock the door the new key want unlock it

that's normal different tumblers in lock. So it still dies? did you ever check for a vacuum leak?

No vacuum leaks someone told me it might be the the idle control value should I change that

that or clean it.
