Why is my gas gage not work?

Could be your sender unit, The gauge itself, The gauge cluster, wiring/connector. With out seeing it it is tough to say. I would take it to your mechanic. Best of luck.

agreed,i say the sending unit in gas tank is bad.If you have this replaced i recomend a new fuel pump while it is apart.

ideas on hopw to replace the fuel pump/sending unit.... i have this problem with erratic gauge and needs to be replaced....

The fuel level sensor is a common problem on these models. It's accessible through the trunk.
