Four wheel alignment

Took it in to a shop at 8 am it's 1 pm and it's not
done just wondering how long it should take. They
also mentioned problems that didn't arise until they
called to see if I want it longated

This is why I always wait for my vehicle when I take it in for something. Especially if it's an older model! Waiters take priority and are worked on first. A normal alignment should take about an hour. That's if no worn parts, like ball joints, tie rod ends, etc. are found that need to be replaced. Hope that helps! Jim
