2002 Pontiac GP won't start unless fuel is added to the tank.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
It will cut out while driving, then will crank but not start unless more fuel is
added to the tank. Bad fuel sender maybe?

The two times it's happened so far the tank has been 3-4 gallons low and 1 gallon low repectively, so I don't think it will do it when the tank is full
By "low" do you mean it is 1 gallon less than full capacity or 1 gallon from empty? If it is low on gas, it probably is sucking air when you brake or corner. More than a gallon or two is needed in the tank to perform properly since that is where the pump is located and it uses liquid gas to cool itself.

Sorry that was unclear. What I meant was that the tank was mostly full. 3-4 gallons used the first time, and 1 gallon used the second time.
