Drips of transmission fluid? probably from the coolant lines...connections to the coolant lines...you may want to snug them a scoche....tho these normally will leak at the rubber hoses goin' to the radiator~ yes....low transmission fluid level is something to worry about but if it's a couple of drips....NO consequence~

i figure its about time for the car to start dripping something as i've owned it since 2003 at 55000mi, now 10yrs later the car has 237000mi.

whoa....what moves and can wear?.......whatever it is it's steeped an a tea made of oil~ why not 10,000,000 miles...change the fluid and fllter so it doesn't swim in it's own filth..and it WILL last~
